Two Weeks Old
Emma is 2 weeks old today! She had a Dr.’s appointment yesterday and everything looks great. She now weighs 6 lbs. 13 oz. and is in the 10% for head circumference and weight and 30% for height. She is a great baby. She eats every 3 hours during the day and usually gets up twice a night, although Monday night she only got up 1 time! Emma is truly a blessing to our family and we can’t imagine life without her now. We love her so much. The boys adore her. Brennan always calls her Emma Joy and Brayden calls her baby Joy, which makes me smile. Yesterday, my wonderful friend, Leah, also came over to take some newborn pictures of my beautiful baby girl. I have only seen one of them so far, but it is so cute! I am so thankful to everyone that has helped us out in the last 2 weeks. My sister for taking the boys for a day, my grandma for helping me out this week, and especially to my mom for taking the boys last week and making a weeks worth of meals for us! I am so grateful for all of the love and support. I know how exhausting my two little boys can be!
The boys are still growing like weeds and being rambunctious. Yesterday, they put on these hooded towels that they used as babies and were pretending to be bears. They are a lot of work, but so much fun. I love them so much!
